Physician Referrals to MVC
We want to make referring patients for cardiovascular care as easy as possible. All MVC physicians are always accepting new patients, and we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for consults over the phone.
If you have an urgent consult we will make room to see your patient within 48 hours. For Echo and stress testing, we can usually accommodate the patient within 5 business days and the results will typically be back in your office within 24 hours of completion. For markedly abnormal tests, the referring physician can expect a phone call from one of our cardiologists to discuss the case.
If you ever have difficulty getting through to our office, please ask for our office manager, Kim Richardson, R.N., B.S.N, and/or email mvca.appts@verizon.net and we will provide you with a direct line to our office so that you can always speak immediately with one of our office staff.
